Volunteer Data Analyst Callout
Tracking Football has volunteer analyst opportunities for this Fall/Winter. Data Research & Analytics Associate
Job title: Data research & analytics associate
Job location: Midwest (corporate office – Carmel, IN)
Work type: Primarily remote (limited travel)
Position type: Full-time
Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 annual
Benefits: Workers’ comp, paid time off, bonus/incentive pay
Job description: Associate position working within Tracking Football’s fast-paced research and analysis team. The position includes integration, aggregation and research of football and athletic data within the proprietary company platform. Majority of work to be done remote. Specific responsibilities split between research-intense projects and providing support to research and analysis team
Job requirements: Qualified candidates will be passionate about data research, technology, and sports information. Candidates must possess the ability to meet daily and long-term project deadlines without oversight. Every candidate must demonstrate their passion for data research and sports information with previous or in-progress work examples.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous work-experience or higher-educational degree in statistics or computer science
- Coding proficiencies in R and Python
- Experience with or ability to learn scraping technologies
- Experience or willingness to learn graphic design
